Bred in Devon for their heavenly fleece, Alta Lyn Alpacas is a small herd of huacaya alpacas on Exmoor near Lynton and Lynmouth. Their fleece is turned into luxury clothing and rugs. Walks and demonstrations on the farm and courses in the farm studios all year round.

“Alta Lyn Alpacas” is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on Exmoor, about three miles from Lynton. This is wonderful walking country, close to the Two Moors Way and the South West Coast Path, footpaths from which you can enjoy the magnificent scenery. There are opportunities to go riding nearby or take boat-trips from the harbour in Lynmouth. The Cliff Railway runs from Lynmouth to Lynton where you can explore the Valley of Rocks, famous for its goats and fine views across the Bristol Channel to Wales, is only a short walk from the excellent restaurants in town.
